"Lord, you are speaking to my heart about grace and believing. I need your gift of grace each day to do and be what I can not do and be on my own. Lord-I believe you for great things. I believe that you have called our family to an amazing journey that you will reveal in your perfect timing!"
Journal entry--November 4, 2012
"Lord you continue to show me blatant, obvious, clear answers to prayer when I pray specifically and turn it over to YOU. I feel like you are building my faith and training ground for something big for your kingdom. I am SO excited and brought to tears when our church talks of missions or share missionary stories. I bawled through Susannah’s children’s book about the life of Amy Carmichael. Train me to walk in the spirit and trust in you. I want to be a MISSIONARY—I feel the calling but I am trusting you Lord, for your timing and what that looks like. I am looking forward to our 777 project for missions, that our church is launching."

"God is in the details! How much can change and how rapidly when seeking, loving and following the Lord becomes number one in your life!! Here we are having meetings with Pastor Ross about becoming missionaries! In the last year we have been to Guatemala twice and Honduras once, and now we are preparing to be sent!!! In the last three years, I can see how the Lord has grown me in so many ways. But truly, when my love for Jesus, and my desire to follow him became more important than the “plan” that He had for our lives, things and details began to be revealed quickly in how the Lord will use us and take us into the next step of training and serving Him."
