MISSION
To live out the love and hope of Jesus Christ by serving, teaching and equipping the local leadership to carry out the great commission in Honduras.
VISION
That every person we serve would know Christ and make Him known, resulting in transformed lives, restored relationships, and changed communities.
The Slyker Family will join where the Lord is working in Western Honduras. They will live and work among the indigenous Lenca people, in the mountains. Through building relationships, the Slyker family is able to share the Gospel, teach God's word, make disciples, and share Christ's love.
The ministry plan of action that we have adopted, includes:

The ministry plan of action that we have adopted, includes:
- Enlisting prayer support. This includes communicating the needs of the Lenca people and sharing the praises as God moves in their lives with people who have committed to praying for the ministry in Honduras. This also includes teaching the local leadership and church members to be a people of prayer.
- Gospel Saturation. We believe in sharing the Gospel with those we encounter as we live in Gracias, travel to the mountains, and work with our adopted church in the village of San Isidro.
- Plant New Churches. We believe in equipping and empowering the local pastors and leadership to be a part of the church planting process. When the local pastor and church leaders begin planting new churches, the Church Planting Movement will explode.
- Make Disciples. We believe that all believers share the responsibility of sharing the Gospel with their neighbors and members of their community as well as making disciples. Through small group bible studies, we are able to teach what it means to follow Christ and be a disciple, and raise up disciples who are ready to go into their communities, throughout their nation, and into the world to continue the disciple making process.
- Breaking Cycles of Poverty. This is an important aspect of our ministry. By helping those who are in need we can form and strengthen relationships as well as share the love of Christ. We have several ways in which we participate in helping those in need such as helping with food, clothing, medical needs, education, and agriculture.
